What is gender-affirming care? | khou.com
When researching, I mainly used keywords such as "transphobia" and "medicine" in different combinations and variations. I was quite surprised to find that there was not at all the abundance of scholarly articles and journals discussing this major topic that I had expected, but this in some ways only further proves the disparity in transgender healthcare I plan to explore in my paper.
I'm thankful when researching for the library resources, which make finding articles much simpler than having to search through the library or comb through hundreds of online sources to find something legitimate.
Here are a few links to some of the articles I've found that I think will prove to be useful in my final paper:

  1. I think this is such a great topic to choose. In your research, I would love to see you dig into how medical schools train their staff for transgender patients and their particular medical needs. For emergency medical staff, how would they adapt their emergency medical procedures for a patient on hormone therapy? Just something to keep in mind!
